Twila Donley from Fantasia Hair Replacement recently participated in CyberWorld, an extensive 3-day international education and training program held in Charleston, South Carolina, which was sponsored by industry leader, International Hairgoods a division of Aderans Hair Goods Inc. of Minneapolis, MN.
Twila joined other retailers and industry experts to see new products and learn new techniques for the best hair replacement options available. 49 years and going strong!
It was 49 years ago in November that Twila and her partner opened Twietta's Beauty Nook in Minneapolis. Nobody could have imagined it would evolve into Fantasia Salon and still be around all these many years later. And, who could have known back then that women's hair loss would be epidemic due to stress, hormonal issues, medications, nutritional imbalance and many other things? Twila got started with wigs back then because she did not like her fine, thin hair so, she had wigs in evey style and color imaginable. Then she began selling them to clients for fun and fashion. In the 80's, with chemotherapy treatments becoming so prevelent, it was wonderful that Twila had the knowledge and skills to help so many people. Today, Fantasia is one of very few salons specializing custom wigs in addition to providing various solutions for thinning hair and hair loss. We truly have come a long way baby!
